Animation Workshop is a Cognitive Science class. This course requires instructor permission.

Course Description

This workshop is intended for intermediate and advanced animation students who wish to pursue independent animation projects within a classroom environment. The weekly meetings will structured around providing creative, critical, and technical support for the participants. All participants will be required to present their work to the group several times during the semester, and these reviews will be complemented with readings, screenings, and other assignments where appropriate. Students interested in the workshop must have a demonstrable level of mastery over their medium as well as course evaluations in prerequisite areas. Students will be allowed to work collaboratively as long as each student has a distinct role and responsibility on the proposed project. Prerequisite: An evaluation from at least one animation-based course.
