Growing Farmers Collective
We seek to bring together the interests of students who find a common thread in agriculture yet bring other vastly different interests with them, creating a unique space for students to share. While many students work on farms, it is very rare for young people to be able to lead their own work, choose what crops to plant, methods, philosophies, plan for yield, etc. We hope to create a space that fosters excitement around agriculture and sustainability with like-minded students who are eager to learn!

We will be hosting a Garden Work Day, Art Build and Cob Oven Cookout and Potluck in the community garden behind Roos-Rhode House Saturday April 23rd from noon to six. Join us in collaborating with other student groups like New Leaf, Guerrilla Arts Brigade and the Community Garden Stewards to come together and revitalize our community garden space, make art and eat yummy food.
We will also be hosting a tree planting event in the Greenwich Greenhouse (date to be announced). Come plant a fig tree with us and learn about our plans for this cool space!
