Mission Statement

The purpose of Magic Draft is to bring together the Magic-playing Hampshire community, as well as to introduce new people to the game. At Magic Draft meetings, play magic socialize, and occasionally draft Magic decks (approximately: [1]) , which we then use to play games against each other. Newcomers and advanced players alike are encouraged to attend!

Currently we are planning to meet every Sunday in FPH 101 from 12-3pm.  However we strongly encourage you to join the email list just in case.

We want anyone and everyone with an interest in Magic the Gathering to show up.  If you don't know how to play, then we will teach you!

In our meetings we play casual constructed or sometimes draft.  So bring a deck over!  We'd love to see what you've been cooking.  But if you don't, no problem!  The club has decks for all!

Fall 2013 is here! We are trying to plan drafts for once Theros releases, and definitely Born of the Gods. Keep checking back!

Many magic cards contained in: One large card box/case/thing along with a couple of other small boxes. The cards vary wildly in age, with more newer sets such as Shards, Eldrazi, Scars and soon Innistrad, but we also have a good deal of older cards. Shoot us an email if you have any questions or want to look through the collection!

We have multiple deck boxes, for club decks, and sleeves, so cards do not get shredded!

We have a club cube for casual drafting purposes as well.

Any member is welcome to make a deck out of club cards, and store it in club decks for as many meetings as they choose to attend.  After two neglected meetings in a row without asking the club to keep your deck intact, they're considered fair game for other eager deck builders.
