Mission Statement

Mixed Heritage is a Hampshire College-based SOURCE group focused on expanding the resources, education, and visibility for mixed identified people. We aim to educate and explore assumptions and perceptions about intersectional and mixed identities. Mixed Heritage provides and sustains a safer space for community building, mutual education and support, as well as discussion about our mixed identities, heritages, and races. As a SOURCE group our weekly meetings are open to and serve the needs of students who identify as students of color, international students, and transracially adopted students who identify as having mixed heritage.
