SISTERS celebrates polyculturalism. We are an identity based group affiliated with the S.O.U.R.C.E (Students of under-represented cultures and ethnicity) community. We are women of color and international women who foster solidarity by sharing experiences. We utilize our time together to foster self love, empowerment and community. SISTERS supports issues of social justice by advocating and organizing around issues of gender, race, social class, and structural oppression in an intersectional approach. As a closed group we hope to create a safe space where women of color and international women can dialogue about how their identities are being challenged by people who do not share or understand our identities.
