11 African countries will receive international funding of around €234 million to modernize their agricultural sector. The funding will be provided by the Partnership for Inclusive Agricultural Transformation in Africa (PIATA), funded by the Bill Gates and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
